Leisure Services is responsible for the providing the following services:
Play Areas - Tendring District Council has scooped over £288,000 in Big Lottery funding to provide new and refurbished play areas across Tendring. Working with our partners we are taking forward five separate projects. Click here to read more and get involved!
Amenities - horticultural services, recreation grounds, public open space, cemeteries and crematorium, children's play areas, allotments and
Arts and Entertainment - Princes Theatre (incorporating the Youth Theatre Company) and special events including, the organisation of the Tour de Tendring and Jazz Festival.
Countryside - management of country parks and nature reserves and the Walton Backwaters Warden Service.
Seafront - management of the Council's beach huts service, seafront staff, shops and kiosks and the Council's seafront shelters.
